Has the value of exact keyword domains lost after the latest google updates? Having exact keyword domains do not add to seo?

I don't know if it was specifically affected by the update but exact match is going to be less and less important. What google aims to do is keep people from "playing games" with rankings. It will certainly help if some of your keywords appear in your domain but being exact match is not as important as other factors.

Though no one can tell for sure what Google is going to do, based on what they have been doing lately, I agree with that.

Having some closely related keywords in your domain is important, though, as it still is a ranking factor, but I wouldn't obsess too much with that, maybe looking forward a closely related domain for a site that can be grown into an authority site is better than an EMD for a micro-niche one.

I mean, if I were to build a site around "cheap dark blue mountain bikes", I'd likely look for a domain like "moutainbikesworld.com" rather than "cheapdarkbluemountainbikes.com"

the trend is you see 1 or max 2 sites with exact match domains in the first 2 pages but they are no longer in Position 1 , maybe they are not that well seo-ed

If you do SEO properly, your site will rank on top search engine.

if you have good and quality content I don't think exact match domain is a problem. Google is working to reward quality and unique sites. so we need to create more quality content.

After Penguin EMDs have very little strength compared to past.

never worry about the exact keyword domain. bcoz if you use best content and have good PR backlinks then automatically your site will be in the main row.
