don't understand your business model, there are hundreds of url shorteners out there and twitter is about to launch its own (t.co). Anyway, I think you should make an effort on the design to have it less web 1.0 and remove the borderline nsfw ads on the bottom of the site
No need for business model when you provide quality service, NSFW ads, all i see are the college ads, so umm yea
Its a great short domain and these type of sites dont have to be works of art as they are a service type of site and looks does not make them necessary earn any more, all people in my mind want is to add a long url click it and then get the result this site does that function.Yes i would agree that many of these sites are around on the net but some of these are really cool in design wise but that does not mean that they are better than a uncluttered site. I guess its upto the owner of the site on how he promotes it to make it stand out from the crowd, thats my take on it.
Does that honestly matter because nine out of ten people will only get a url and never look at the theme
you need a bright colour design and details written on the main page about what to do once you somebody reach your site.
Template doesn't look professional. What is your unique selling proposition? Why use you over widely known url shortening sites like bit.ly and tinyurl? I see written above "No need for business model". I vehemently disagree - EVERY venture, be it internet, be it brick and mortar should ALWAYS have a business model/plan before starting. At a minimum you must analyze your competition.
