Ex-corporate slave & now globetrotting webmaster says hi and thanks!

    Just like to say thanks to all on this board who have contributed (particularly the Adsense board) and helped people like me who was just a newbie before.

    Anyway I'll try and keep my story is brief.

    I finally made a leap of faith last October to be a independent website publisher after years working as a corporate slave.

    I basically fell in love with travel as well and wanted to combine work and travel. When I left the UK for Southeast Asia last year I was n't making a whole lot but the cost of living in is very cheap in Indonesia, Thailand etc so I just about earnt enough from web sites to cover my costs.

    Well six months on and with the help of sites like this I am now making much more than I spend and have managed to save quite a bit despite flying 15 times, going to Australia and NZ (which are much more expensive to travel around) and generally living it up as a backpacker.

    I am hoping that when I get back to the UK in July I will be earning close to what I was when I was imprisioned in the large corporate I.T. department so I don't have to go back to the darkside!

    So I am living my dream and I urge people never to give up on theirs.

    Cool. :cool: A slave. Where can I buy one of those? eBay? Are chicken bones enough for a slave to live on or do they need the odd apple as well?
