As you can see from my username I am a HUGE horror fan! I grew up with the likes of Evil Dead, Nightmare on Elm street and Friday the 13th so news that Evil Dead was getting a reboot was music to my ears! I know some people that like the original are upset that the reboot is going ahead, but I am someone that thinks a reboot can only be a good thing! Today the trailer of the trailer was released - that's not a mistype, they actually released a trailer of the trailer before the full length one! Crazy world we live in now! The trailer looks good as just a horror movie, but the whole reason Evil Dead was so successful was because Ash (and Bruce Campbell) had personality. Hollywood seems to try to reboot things that people love but they always get some baby-faced ambercrombie models to play the characters and then they wonder why they don't do well. They are going to do the same thing with the reboot of Ghostbusters. Instead of finding naturally personable people like Bill Murray they will get a bunch of twilight looking guys with the personalities of cardboard. They do this because it sells, but honestly these movies are all interchangeable because the actors are nice to look at but they don't bring much else to the table. Just my opinion.
