Great post, I run a few sites all optimized for clickbank two are complete and one is half there. Two of them are in niches and provide general information and one is reviews of clickbank products (gets the least but most targeted traffic).

I've sold 3 products in the past two months already, but haven't had a sale in two weeks now. My top site (which sold 2/3) gets around 50 UV a day..

So I'm looking to start list building to boost the sales. Out of interest you said to send 7 emails of the something suprising, 1 email of a testimonal, and 2 of effects of the product, in what order do you do this as I presume you mix the 7 surprising emails up within the others, or do you send them in that order?

Also I advertise Amazon products and have made a few sales here but the commissions are pretty poor would you recommend taking these off my page?

To balance things out can you stress what the dangers of clickbank are. I have heard serious stories about the gravity and conversion rates at Clickbank have been and can be manipulated by the sellers of the Clickbank product.

 

I must admit I was quite impressed with laxman363's initial example in his first post comparing google adsense make a few 30 cents per 100 page views versus in some cases $25 with a click bank sale. Clickbank has more leverage per page view also because each item is a strong and usually long sales page and sales PITCH, whereas google adsense ads are simply 'islands' with a very weak pitch and MUCH TOO SHORT a sales pitch.

As affiliates we need to think about where we can get MAXIMUM leverage per X number of visitors to an HTML page. . .
