Everything seems to point me away from using Clickbank for my affiliate program

I've been asking around for information about Clickbank and everything seems to point me away from using their company. First off, there are thousands of affiliates that signed up with Clickbank but probably about 25% of those affiliates are active and maybe about 10% of them can actually produce results. With thousands of already proven competitors, what are the chances of them signing up for my program through Clickbank? Secondly, Clickbank makes it a lot easier than Paypal to issue a refund. I've heard that all you have to do is ask for a refund and they'll issue it to you. Not to mention, they also have higher rates than Paypal. The last reason I'm probably not going to use them is because many people are not Clickbank affiliates, therefore you may lose a lot of people simply because they have to go to Clickbank and sign up there. Unless Clickbank finds the affiliates for you, most of your potential affiliates will be people who visit your website. There are lots of programs I haven't signed up for, simply because I didn't have a Clickbank account, and didn't feel like signing up for one. It also may confuse some people who are not familiar with how that works. Please let me know if you think I'm wrong here.

Hi, Another thing that puts a lot of people off clickbank is that when you join ,you need to make sales with 5 or more different credit card numbers before you see any money, and the fact that PayPal and eCheck purchases do not count toward the minimum. This makes it very hard for newbies trying to make money.
