I've tried over 10 different sites to check pr and entered around 5 different ones in each of those sites including DP and they all show PR 0 I dont get it.. Any light on this issue?
Digitalpoint.com is PR 0? When i check it says datacenter down for most of the IPs Even megaupload.com is PR 0 I dont think so.
at last, PR finally shows symptoms of becoming obsolete...nyahahahhaaha! its almost useless so don't bother looking at it...
It could simply be a temporary glitch, or if you've been using an automated PageRank checker very heavily, Google could simply be blocking PageRank queries from your IP address.
I have noticed this as well. In example http://www.whatsmypagerank.com/ is ranked #2 at Google so it should be influential web-site on that matter, still it shows the same Page Rank for Blogger (with actual PR9) and any other web-site. The best way is to take a site you are sure to have a PR above 0 and search through Page Rank Checkers until you find one that shows real results.
Foolish view. You'd pay to get your site listed in a high PR directory, but you wouldn't pay for a PR0 directory. That's a fact.
I found 1 site that shows my site as PR 3 which is what my site is.. But a lot of the sites dont work properly.. Im not the only one that gets this.
Always do n't trust PR toolbar and also due to limit on no of PR queries by Google ,most of PR checker sites are having a resource crunch!
I agree, PR is just a museum piece in a way, it only exists for old times' sake. Not important anymore, although some folks will tell you it is as far as SERPs (however not as much as it is exaggerated to be).
Hey... Don't be much bother about the PR in tool bars. Just concentrate yourself on your working and updating your site and try to get visitors. Best of luck.
i could careless about PR just i wanted to see if I was the only one having this issue.. PR means nothing.. traffic is what counts.
In a lot of cases with out pr there is no traffic lol. Are you registered with Alexa it is another pr type of search engine they have a different type of page rank and it displays in the bottom corner of Mozilla if you use Mozilla its free to get your site listed and make a profile with Alexa i am pretty sure the head guy at Google is the creator of it and it can help you a lot and so can dmoz if you can get added to there directory.
