Started a campaign yesterday already at 10/10 quality score on the major keywords with overal CTR of 11%...average time on the landing page is 02:28 min which means people read it...21.62% went to the merchant site....but no one buys....why? Does anyone has a contact at shareasale..maybe they could help me? The Fly
How many people actually got to the merchant page? 200,500...? If you sent 20-30 people you can't expect a sale.
There is a lot that goes into marketing besides ad quality and landing pages. Are you including price in your ads to stop people from clicking who are not looking to buy?? Are you marketing to the correct target market? For example I have a site that sells products from a popular kids television show. It has a lot of daily traffic but only makes sales a few times a month. I knew going in that the kids would find the site and spend time there, but that they are not going to buy anything. The goal is for the kids to find something they want, and nag their parents to buy....and on occasion when a parent does a search for the product keywords they find the site find what they want and they make a purchase....while the sales are not great when there are sales its usually for multiple products.
This is by far the best advice anyone can likely give you, take it! There are so many factors in marketing, try optimizing part by part so you can see what helps. If you provide a few more details, most people here would be more than glad to give you a few tips.
once before i used my own script for my e-commerce website and there was not so many conversion. After i moved and starting to use Presta Shop e-commerce script ( with a custom module to allow people to buy safe with credit-card ) and my conversions rise up to 400%
Thx for the feedback guys. Well the price tag is pretty high $379....but im giving a $50 discount coupon. I didn't put the price in the Ad as i didnt want to hurt my CTR. I did put it down in the LP. So far there were 20-30 people went to the merchant site...maybe i need to wait a little longer...just that the clicks are killing me...cut it off by half today...CTR is down now to 6.5% Cheers, The Fly
So you're sacrificing profits for CTR%?? Kind of the wrong way of looking at things from a business standpoint. And yes if it is not available till August, few are going to pay now and want to wait 3 months or more. You also might want to find a better price point product given the current economy. @ Adscend Thank you for the kind words.
