So, I was watching TV and it seems they are not going to have it where you can just use those "rabbit ears" to get a TV station. Feb 2009, if you don't have a digital converter, cable or satalite you are out of luck for watching TV. ....Go figure. I knew they would do something like this. I'm sure some people gotta be a lil upset cuz its gonna be expensive.
It's not going to be expensive for people...well not here anyway. I speak about in the UK A digitalbox (freeview) costs what? £20-50 depending on how good it is? One off payment, then your set for life. Most new TV's have it built in as well.
if you talk about electronic, i think its not too much expensive right know, but if you talk about hi-tech electronic, of course thats expensive mate

Digital will be better, faster and cheaper above all. Everything is going toward digital, that's for sure.
TV is so last century. I can't remember the last time I watched a TV except to watch a movie. All my video programming I get on the internet these days.
Supermarkets even put digiboxes on offer for £10 sometimes, the picture quality over analog is so much better. Once they remove analog there'll be more room for extra digital channels and HD.
I don't think its a big deal either...I mean, who watches analog tv anyways? Thats ancient technology.
Whilst we're ok here ( got sky last year ) there are plenty of people ( especially older ones ) who are still on analogue & for me it's the compulsion part I dont like . Freeview etc is a cheap way to go if you know your aerial is good ( lots of houses have old crap ones & most renters have no idea what aerial their landlord has installed we find if you get unlucky with that can be another £100 or so - a lot to some people spare change to others ofc ) .
I switched from analog just a few months ago, had to get the converter to be able to order premium movie channels and use ppv.
