Alright, so the site I started 5 days ago (affording-college.blogspot.com) is indexed by google as i can search for certain oroginal entries i posted in hte blog and they show up. but when i search for my latest postings or the site specifically, my website never shows up, but only articles i have posted on various websites that link to my site and have the same titles as my blog entries. is this happening because i am not ranked yet? i also noticed that my blog articles stopped showing up on google after i posted a blog and made the mistake of copying it to various article directories (i have learned since to REWRITE my blog articles before doing so). i went back and reworded that blog a bit, but could this have been enough to send me to "google hell" or something? i just think it's weird that this blog and all of the one's after it don't show up on google, while the ones before do on the bright side, i got my first click today
I have been told many times NOT to post any article on my site that I have purposely sent to an article site. Also, if other sites are showing up for your titles, and your site is brand new, and your content is original (if not the titles), I think "time" is what's needed. Keep creating more content!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Site man, hold back for a moment and just post the content on your blog and submit it to various social bookmarking websites and try to increase the backlinks and traffic. I too faced similar kind of situation and I got out of it after ignoring the google and let it do its job. And I did mine. Now I am getting good organic traffic. Do take some time and post good stuff to increase traffic.
alright thanks guys teamnirvana what do you mean by "submitting it to various social bookmarking websites"? you mean submit my blog to them and not the articles i have written, correct?
