Sorry Zander, I just don't agree... PR is there as a good indicator. As far as Iam concerned, that's it... I have sites runnng in highly competetive travel searches, with only a PR3 (and it WAS a PR0) This is smashing the competition for the keyphrases it is targetted for, and most of the comp has PR6+...
You don't understand. PR, SERPs, Allinanchor it's all not important. Only: 1) real visitors to your site 2) the actions by real visitors on your site are very important. So I prefer 10 visitors who order for $10,000 optimization each to 1st position on 100 the most attractive keywords which gives me 1,000,000 visitor ordering each for $0.01 SEO services. Do you track such keywords as "How to travel to Spain and spend there 100,000 dollars?" - I guess you don't and it might me your gold client that will give you 80% of you income. PR helps to make of importance every word on your page and you have great chances for keywords that will give you 5 visitors per month but if there are 100,000 such keywords then you'll get 500,000. Of course you can beat PR with allinanchor but please tell me how to do it for 3,000 - 100,000 keywords which give me 0,1-10 visitors per day EACH but it's 500,000 on month basis from Google. Or may be you are going to make HTML block with 100,000 keywords in allinanchor? The only way to promote content rich site with thousand pages is through PR. I prefer to have 1st positions for 100,000 keywords and don't care and track them and have 500,000 uniq visitors and don't pray for Google not changes their algo or my competitors will by 200,000 allinanchor links and I'll lost my positions. PS By the way I'm selling links on free web hosting like Angelfire or Geosites. It's 211,830 different domain names with low PR value from PR6 to PR1 but all of them are uniq and market independent and you can place 211,830 allinanchor links on different sites with your keyword with one click. PSS I think some time ppl will sell allinanchor but not PR, but for sites with 10,000 or 100,000 pages PR is more important because you can't track and promote 100,000 keywords!
That sounds interesting Can I see examples of the sites please... Also, How specefic is the content? How much? PM me
PR is great if you want to sell a site, or attract advertisers, as the larger the PR the more authority it eminates, and buyers as well as advertisers need some kind of gauge if your site is worth it or not
just focus on SERP ranking.....PR is not important nowadays....and Google still not update it yet for very long time....... I think PR is important when you want to selling your domain name or website....because people will keep asking about PR of our web...
