Everyone here is getting screwed.

It seems to me that whenever you click on a CJ link, sometimes it takes sooo much time for the page to load. Sometimes it's fast, but sometimes it's slow, and sometimes the page just never loads. I've experienced this more than once, so it's no fluke. Merchants.. leave CJ, man! So much money is left on the damn table.. it makes me sad.

If you want to do this experiment, just click on any CJ affiliate link several times. See if the page loads up quickly every single time. For me, the page is slow to load sometimes, and a few times the page just never loads at ALL. This has nothing to do with my internet connection, or anything. It's simply a fault with the CJ link system.

And they need to get this fixed as soon as possible. This is not a fluke at all. I tried clicking on a variety of CJ links, and the same thing happened over and over - the main page did not load at all, or was extremely slow close to 10-20% of the time.

    Other Issues with CJ:
    1) Their Late Payments
Couple of months ago, when I logged in to check my payment status, it said their check was sent on Feb-22. Guess what? I didn't recieve the check until March 14. That's 3 whole weeks.. I don't believe my check got lost or whatever. What probably happened was that they prematurely put a date of Feb-22, when in actuality they mailed the check later.

    CJ, get your act together.

    2) Their Utter Lack of Customer Service
To give them credit, they have been better lately, but still nowhere near perfect. Often, I have to send a SECOND email/question to them in order to get their attention.

    CJ, get your act together.

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=293712 - Late or no response to questions

    3) Their Lack of Respect for Affiliates
Guess what, CJ? Without us affiliates, you would be out of business. Stop sending us emails about promotions we don't care about. I don't care about that stuff! Why don't you send me email about what you're doing to improve your service, or why my payment is late instead?

And don't cancel our account without telling us why. That's just rude.

    CJ, get your act together.

    4) Their Silly "User Interface"
Run reports? I'm not a damn company.. I'm just an individual affiliate. And how the heck do I sort the results by EPC for a particular category? It seems they just give me everything, or everything within a very specific niche like Health & Beauty > Cosmetics. How the heck do I sort EVERYTHING in health & beauty by EPC? Your UI just sucks. No question about it. It sucked as soon as I used it. So awkward.. so ugly.. so unrefined. I've seen in-house affiliate programs that had better UI's.

    CJ, get your act together.

Commission Junction is simply bad, and it's time everyone knows about it, so we can pressure them to change.

I don't want CJ to go away.
    I'm not threatening CJ.
I don't want to libel, or slander them.
    I'm not a bad guy.

I simply want quality. CJ, if you're reading this, do not take this post as an insult.
LEARN FROM IT. IMPROVE your service. IMPROVE it.

That's all. IMPROVE it. It's that simple. IMPROVEMENT. It rocks, man!

I want to make more money.
You want to make more money.
Advertisers want to make more money.

CJ, Step up to the plate. It's your turn at bat.

I have never seen an issue with this, either working on the affiliate or advertiser side. I just tested links to different advertisers multiple times, and didn't see any issue with any of them... you think it might be your connection?

Where do you live? The envelope will probably have a postmark with the date that it was sent from the post office or meter. CJ's check system is automated, so when a check is marked as sent in the system, that means it's been printed, stamped, and sent.

I agree, they have been getting a lot better lately. If you give them a call, you'll have very few issues, though.

You do realize that you can control the mail settings from your account... right?

What does the "run reports" interface have to do with a company versus an individual? It should give you all the info you need, the interface is very clean & easy to use.

I think CJ has one of the better UIs. Have you seen LinkShare's interface? If you ever tried using it, you'd never complain about CJ.

I make thousands of dollars a month with CJ as well as my team members and clients. There have been times when a check has taken a few weeks, but in my opinion, as long as it comes, I'm happy. As far as the load time of sites, I think this varies by advertiser, I would have to say the CJ and clickbank are the two best affiliate companies out there.

You mean you want the links to point to advertiser.com/something, instead of cjtrackinglink.com/click-00000-0000000? The reason why it points to the CJ tracking links is to that CJ can track the clicks & set cookies for transactions. What difference does it make if you link to a tracking link that redirects first?
