Every Newbie Needs to Know These 2 Steps to Success

Through out my time as an internet marketer I've established a few concepts that are very crucial to having a successful online business. I am going to dumb down the whole world of internet marketing so it is easy for beginners to understand. I realized that I suffered from so much information overload that I didn't see the big picture of what I was trying to accomplish. Seeing the big picture helped me to understand the overall concept of internet marketing much easier.

#1 Key to Success: The most important thing in any online business is to have traffic. As you can see this is the first step of the Big Picture above. When I say traffic I want to make it clear that I am not talking about 10,000 visitors that you buy from some random junkie. I am talking about quality content that converts well. There are a bunch of great free ways to get quality content. Look into article marketing, web 2.0 and social media. These are all good sources of traffic. I have a bunch of free traffic resources on my Facebook Page if that is something you're interested in.

#2 Key to Success: Following along with the Big Picture above, the second key to success is a converting offer. This doesn't have to be anything fancy, as long as you're getting traffic to your offer you will make sales. It's just a matter of how many sales you'll make. You have a lot of options for your converting offer. You can direct right to an affiliate link. This is probably the easiest method but not the best. You can also build a squeeze page and start collecting people's e-mails then sell something to them later or you could make your own product and set up a sales page. One more possibility is to create a niche blog and put adsense on it. there are endless possibilities to make a converting offer. This blog has some good ideas on how to monetize.

My best advice is don't complicate things, be patient and following the steps above. Remember the big picture and don't get bogged down in the details. From my experience if you keep these things in mind and stay productive you will be very successful

For myself and I think probably a lot of other people getting started, the issue was never really a lack of information, but rather way too much and not knowing what to do with it. It took me way longer to actually figure out exactly what the basic system I needed to follow was than it did to start implementing it.

A simple and clear outline like this lets you take massive action and just get things started!

Greats tips on the 2 important components that is crucial in any online business. I think the best way to avoid information overload is to stay FOCUS on following one system at a time. Most people will follow one system, give up on it, start to follow another system and the cycle repeat again.

The fact is that there is no magic system or magic button that will allow people to make money without much effort from their side. If people still have that mentality when they are looking for ways to make money online, then I think they will be deeply disappointed when they realized that work is involved.

Very good point. I was about to include the importance of ACTION in this so I'm glad you said something. Sticking with one method and staying patient and dedicated is a very important step to online success.

Im sorry but what you posted newbies already know.

The problems is nobody can get into the specific details about any of those points.

This means, how and where do you get the traffic. And how do you convert this visitors to clients.

This is the biggest problem with marketing, it never gets into any specific details. Everyone has their own tricks, the truth at the end of the day is that you need to invest money to make money.

Thanks..It's very useful for newbie like me..It looks like so simple but in practice it's not as simple as that..The hardest thing,in my opinion, is traffic..To advertise is expensive and if promoting with SEO so we will compete will millions site in the world..But this will be easier if we choose the right niche..

 

I agree is all about traffic, as they say you can sell anything if you have the traffic

 

Everyone find the ways to get traffic, but how do you do to get traffic and increase sell. The most important thing is to learn the rule of online marketing from expert.

 

To the big picture, I add another key element-Market research. If a newbie can find a profitable and low competitive niche, I think he is halfway to success.

Amount of traffic is NOT important. 10 million hits with NO sales is worthless.

The amount of CONVERTIBLE traffic is important. 10 hits with 10 sales is PRICELESS.
