Ok, I don't know about the rest of you but news like this really pisses me off!
How the hell can we stand by and let this lunacy continue? Thanks Bush you freaking jackass for ruining this country and our economy. I blame him and Cheney for letting this happen! People need to realize that through their fiscal irresponsibility and spending they are running this country to the ground.

Freaking bastards!!!

On the other hand you have to thank him for the GDP - per capita (PPP): $43,800 (2006 est.)

Those GDP figures are fueled by deficit and debt spending. The GDP is not an offsetter to the debt #s, they are collaborative and inflated.

I was thinking about this today...
I heard the Iraq War cost about 200 billion dollars in 2007... Assuming there's 312 million US taxpayers, that means the war is costing every single infant, man, woman, and elderly person about $650 this year...

That means, you, me, and everyone else is paying $650 per year to keep our troops in an unpopular war where they're still getting killed at a rate of more then 1 per day...

It's the only kind of news you ever post. That would explain why you are always pissed off.

I'll make the same offer to you as I recently did to guerilla. If anyone can find one thread seo-guru has started in P&R that is positive about America, I'll donate $50 to the RP campaign. He's started a lot of threads. Who will be the first to force GTech to donate to the RP campaign?

That's just the straight line Congressional allocations for the war. It doesn't include the debt servicing for the loans from China to finance the war, nor the future reconstruction costs or no-bid future contracts.

Believe that that cost is much higher. It always is.

I long for the days when they said this war would only cost $50 billion and the oil would pay for reconstruction. If the Iraqis don't nationalize their oil, their country will literally be bled dry of their means to finance reconstruction by Big Oil, and the American people will finance the cost to blow up and rebuild another country.

I believe liberal tax and spender Mike Huckabee refers to this as "We broke it, we bought it." Coming from a guy who spent a lot of taxpayer money unethically in Arkansas, that comes as no surprise.

Well, you are contributing to SoniqHost's GDP #s!

You would be wrong, of course. But coming from a guy that supports a racist candidate who delves into conspiracy theories, I shouldn't expect anything different.

Fact:

* Texas billionaire Ross Perot made paying down the national debt a central element of his quixotic third-party presidential bid in 1992. The national debt then stood at $4 trillion and Perot displayed charts showing it would soar to $8 trillion by 2007 if left unchecked. He was about a trillion low.

* The Democratic-led Congress recently raised the ceiling of debt limit to $9.82 trillion as the former $8.97 trillion maximum was about to be exceeded. It was the fifth debt-ceiling increase since Bush became president in 2001.

Spin this!!!
$9,149,341,364,936.71as of 11/30/2007

That's a pure mind bugling dose of reality for those who care to know and ACCEPT reality and the TRUTH, instead of trying to undermine it and pretend that it does not exist! Numbers don't lie...some people do.

Actually besides the initial $18 billion dollar reconstruction payment, Iraq has been funding its own reconstruction.

Oh yea? Funding it with what...where did they find the money to do that? Curious as it seems like you must know something the rest of the world doesn't.

Than again these facts must be not true:

Even if we weren't giving them more money, we're using manpower to build things their, and that costs money too...

Lol Gtech the national debt is a publicly known piece of information. For you to neg rep me is just sad. If you feel a negative rep on this forum is helping the collapsing U.S economy, be my guest and neg me :)

What we should ALL do in this forum is collectively start adding some bad rep to Gtech and see how he likes it when the voices of reason and truth put his rep where it belongs!
