I want to sell 2 products that are related, a cheap one and an expensive one.

Every 10th buyer of the cheap product would get the expensive product for free.

    Is this legit ?

Uhhhh, If these are both your products then you can do whatever you want with them, including giving them away for free. Theres nothing wrong with what you want to do.

Yes this is legitimate, as long the product B is an upgrade product from A. They would need to be a very similar. You can't have two completely different products and substitute them.

Yes this does not violate any trade regulation.
But it does not fair for customer. And maybe a portion of your client will suspect that its only a hype to drive sales.
Why not make it this way,buy 5 expensive product and then get 1 cheap product free.

Wtf? It's not fair to the customer that they have a chance to get a better product for the price of the lesser product? Your advice is horrible.

You can give out product A and product B for free - it will still be legit.
I don't really understand the question.
You can do whatever you want with your products, try to sell them for thousands of dollars or giving them away for free.
    You decide.
