wow that's a lot of server!!! Imagine this if the article is 2 years old
How much did google grown over the past 2 year? Three times bigger? so 450000 x 3 = 1350000 servers

    What do you think?

    Is it the biggest?

In terms of site size, I seriously doubt google would be the biggest or even require the most power. I would think sites like: YouTube, MySpace, or Yahoo would all be larger and thus require more power?

If you think about it, a simple search query can be easily processed through an indexed databased. But downloading videos at high speeds is far more costly.

Don't strange. It can be. Actually by which way transactions and queries are increasing day by day to Google, It will have to maintain in this no. Since it provides different huge online packages like Google Earth, Google Map. I am sure the no. of servers will be close to 4,50,000.
