Hiring an adsense consultant? Well, maybe it was long long back.. There are so many websites at present telling you how to make money with adsense easily.. in fact, many people have started online coaching classes on this subject too.

Personally, I don't have any experiences but I am sure that you'll be learning things yourself after he guides you. So, better start it on your own so that you can come up with your own strategies.

I recommend you don't go for an adsense consultant if he is going to charge high. I know many who charge like $50 - $100 an hour, which is really not worth it.

Do your research and homework, ask for tips here, read more threads on DP.

*EDIT - Just saw your signature post*

Very well, I think you're doing a good business. Good luck. I hope not everyone has the same point of view as mine :D

    Hey there,

I think it really depends. There is always room for improvement and if you have a site earning 3k per month then 100 per hour isn't really that much :).

Just trying to learn what your guys experiences were. A lot of people think of themselves as "AdSense pros" and then help by giving general tips.

No disrespect to adsense consultants since I realise it's their job and a secondry source of income, but there is a ton of free and great advice out there for people trying to get into adsense, just look at these forums. Reading round here and borrowing some of the tricks and methods people have suggested just on here, I have bought a few books too. My adsense earning have significantly gone up.

Like kleinichen, I believe you can add alot of value and help alot of people within the community especially if you are doing over $3k from adsense a month and your services can be valued

Of course, there are tons of good resources. Even our our blog has tons of great content. Still, it's never something 100% relevant for your wesbite.

Agree, yet I see countless of websites just wasting precious time with the worst ad design possible. Losing a lot of revenue per month, which they could've made if they just did some research and changed the ad design/placement.
That's why we are offering the service since we are explaining why that ad design/placement sucks.
In the end it will save them time, and money.

hiring adsense consultant will not be useful because they charge very high and if in any case your account gets banned then it will not be his fault and he will take money from you.

Really and how does someone new to Adsense know what is "great advise" and what is rubbish?

The "secrets" are simple. You need traffic. duh! You need to place your Ads where they will be seen - some people don't get this part.

You need to have content that matches advertisers willing to spend money - overlooked all the time with people who choose niches like "free ____", "celebrity wallpaper" or whatever.

But here is the most important factor. You need to have a visitor that is ready to take an action. And if you can figure out how to get those people to your site you'll make money.

The guy who comes to your site looking for a specific brand or model of something and is presented with an advertisement that matches the PURPOSE of his visit is a very good candidate to click on an offer.

And if you have a crap site with a very high bounce rate then you might as well put your ads in big blocks right in the center top of the page.

And for all the people who don't understand how adsense works, putting the maximum allowable number of ads on every page will make you LESS money than using selective placement.

So do you need a consultant to do that for you? If so, then hire them.

That's actually an important point. What kind of AdSense consultant is that who will get your account banned? Whenever I am helping people I am always including whether the placements are potentially dangerous or not.

Yep of course, it's all about traffic. But what about if he could make another 20% every day out of his traffic just with a few optimizations? That would be 12k$ instead of 10k$ every day. 20% is a realistic number. Assuming you have a CTR of 1% it's easily possible to get it up to 1.2%.

You'll also need to work on the CPC of course, but that's more difficult.

AdSense help center? Seriously, they don't have any good advice there at all except perhaps section targeting, and ad placements. Yes, see the quote from above please :).

Good point, there ads aren't optimized as well. Still don't understand why all people are going for the green URL color....

From a psychological point of view it's just bad.
