Every once in a while I have an article that goes crazy with traffic at EA and then dies back down after a day or so. And this after the article has been live. Has anyone ever seen this happen and why does it happen?
You got to the front page of google for a term, got the hits, google danced, you're out of the top 10.
It happens for two main reasons: 1) As Supper said, you get to the top page of Google for a term and many people read your article. After a while Google decides that this article doesn't belong on the front page, and your traffic goes down. 2) Your article is in one of the three lucrative lists on EzineArticles for a long time: recently approved (per category or front page of EzineArticles), most viewed, or most published (I got one article there). This is a guaranteed way for big traffic. nadavs
Hi this happended to me mulitiple times. But here is something that happens to me on a regular base. I submit an article with an eye catching title and a call to action resource box. Traffic is coming to me, my webiste or landing page and sales are popping up in my cb account for a period of 5-10 days. After that there is almost the same amount of traffic (5-15%) fluctation and sales are dropping with 80%. And i don't write review articles about the newest books on clickbank. The opposite happens as well, i write a few articles for a new products. -Tip i always buy the ebooks myself that way my refund rate is lower than 2%.- I don't have sales for a period of 2-4 months and then blue bars on my cb account. Writing a good resource box is an art on its own. Yesterday i did a small experiment with five articles changed one (only 1) word in the resource box and the ctr has increased with 7%. Another tip is promote different products into different markets. A particular clickbank product i promote converts 1:6 (hops). The problem it's not a market but a niche so i make only three sales a month. Other clickbank products are converting 1:30 and even 1:167. These are products in highly competitive marekets but i got sales daily so a cb product in never to competitive.
