They normally give you a email telling you if you are slightly violating their TOS, but if you are clicking on the ads yourself then I don't think they warn you I think it is a straight ban.

If they don't warn you then some people may think this is wrong, but at the end of the day you should already know that clicking on your own ads must be fraud.

It's against google's policies and, in my opinion, the webmaster guidelines. They were probably being sarcastic.

Read the sections "Webmaster Guildelines", "Ad Placement" and "Site Content" on the Policies page.

And pray that no-one has already reported you. In the future, it's always best to confirm something with google. At least if they OK it you can back yourself up with the email confirming it if a different google employee later finds this questionable.

No warning e-mails, no nothing, I just get closed! And yes, i got an e-mail telling me i am not welcome to adsense for ever!

Adsense and Google really sucks?! Well , an advertiser could easy buy ads on Web Pages, for 2-4 cents from adbrite or clixgalore. But if they join for buying AdWords Ads, and would like to buy ads for relevant search results only... Google will put theyre ads on WWW pages, and will take them even a few dolars for a click don't really cost more then 2 cents! and this is optiom is automaticaly activated, and i bid on 1 USD that 99% +++++ of the people who use AdWords even don't known about this! daaam Google is a fraud! and google sucks!

I really known that from today , i will get lot's of privates with subject line "fxxx you " or lot's of bad points on DigitalPoint forum , because I said the reality , and I made lot's of people who are fooling (stealing) some innocent people money! Yes, it's really awesome to take 50 cents for a click that isn't worsing more then fxxx 1 cent! People like you help Google do something... imoral. Yeee is think a lot of it even if it's legal , it's imoral !

I guess that is where most of the self clickers and fraudsters hang out. I know that there are probably still people getting banned even though they are genuine, but that is mainly due so much strict policies and security software, which was really only put in place in the first place to actually stop cheaters.

If people didn't cheat then they wouldn't really need all this security and no one would get banned.

How true. There are some legitimate people being banned, but it is the cheaters that make it hard for those people to return to the system.

airports have to install devices that can scan through a person's clothings...just because some pricks decided to slam airliners into concretes.

Sad isnt it. It takes you longer to board a plane now than to drive to where you are going. Of course I am exagerating, but I can remember when things were much simpler. Again a few made it bad on the many.

    To quote Clancy

Clear thinking, Clancy, despite the recent heat!

Makeaprofit's "fooling" tactics will only worsen his condition. Rather, he should build a site that draws relevant ads, because those are the ones that get clicked.

He isn't really trying to cheat the system, he is more trying to change the content that is shown in his ads. If he has real articles on a certain type of content then it isn't cheating he just wants to slightly change the focus and I say fair enough!
