Ever considered secure connection?

    Hi,

Just had a passing thought: has the owner ever considered access to a secured connection to DP, such as SSL and other encrypted protocols would provide?

    Cheers.

    Hello Brum,

Now a days, every forum is under the consideration from the security agencies monitoring as to maintain their traffic rates and the data filtration for malicious virus spread. Usually, you are already scanned by the page itself without actually displaying you. You can also check this when accessing you online banking too.

SSL is long gone brothers, now is the age of TLS, more tough and well, many people say that is impossible for breaching, but hey, people out there always like and love challenges and this might be history sooner than later. Give it a view on Google, stuff's amazing.
And the basic SSL costs you around $9 approx..

SSL only protects against "man in the middle" packet sniffing/attacks, which are pretty rare. People are much more likely to fall prey to keyloggers or phishing attacks.

I'm far more interested in doing away with HTTP as a protocol, and switching to SPDY (which is inherently secure in addition to other benefits).

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPDY

The use of the underlying SPDY protocol is one of the main reasons Google websites are so fast.

The more secure the connection/website is the more value and dependcy it will be able to sustain for the users and breaches can be avoided. some hackers do create a fake page to steal your personal data just at the begining of the website. that is really a blow.
