Ever bought advertising on proxy.org

Well it also depends on the other Tier 2 listings.. When there was like nobody, $125 was worth it, and they sent a lot of free traffic per day. You usually get 1500-2000 visitors per day, and it was much more afordable compared to the Tier 1 option. Now I just do bold listing, and they send decent traffic. I also recommend findproxy.org. I'm not vouching for them, but a bold link for $5 is pretty cheap. And the standard listing for $10 is affordable since they send good traffic.

I recommend adversal, and adbrite on the proxified pages, or at least a form of advertisement, so that you can make money from all that traffic..

 

I don't know where you live, but 200 grand a year isn't all that much. barely upper class

He is not but he is earning quite a bit with only one website especially when he doesn't have to do a lot of work on the website itself.

Proxy.org is useless. Here are the stats for each type of advertisement they offer

21 hits per day to each of 6,000 Regular Listings.
180 hits per day to each of the 561 Bold Listings.
570 hits per day to each of the 30 Tier Two Listings.
1,860 hits per day to each of the 10 Top Ten Listings.

Assuming 5% CTR and 10 cents per click you would make the following amounts per month.

Bold: $27
Tier 2: 85$
Tier 1: $280

Getting a bold listing gives you around $7 a month, a Tier 2 is a huge loss, and a Tier 1 will get you $30 a month. These amount arent guaranteed and most likely will be lower.

That's when you only get $0.10 clicks. There are so many clicks more than $0.10 out there so your calculations won't be accurate either.

 

From where proxy.org get so much traffic to send you?

 

You obviously have no idea about proxies. Yes, they start with 40 cent clicks but when you get smart priced you get 5 cent clicks. With the traffic it sends you you will be smart priced within days. Giving you 10 cent clicks on a proxy was being generous.

 

We just got different views, that's all. I am getting way better than that at the moment. However, there's quite a range depending on the day itself. I tend to earn a lot lesser on weekends since there's no school or work. The Proxy.org advertising is bringing me a lot of traffic compared to my usual weekend traffic.

 

I have a proxy right now getting only a few hundred visitors and a few clicks for more than $1 each. The thing with proxy.org traffic is that it isnt all from the US and is not the highest quality traffic therefor leading to smart pricing and 5 cent clicks.

 

Damn I thought it was going to be smooth sailing with my $1 and $2 clicks. This is the second day in a row when one my channels had 4 clicks for $4.

 

@Bobby 200,000 in Australia would be seen as a lot of money. Average wage is like 25% of that.

@Asen They might only make $7 from a bolded link but you also will get returning visitors. It's also better than nothing.

@Mong A lot from search engines, when you search proxy in google they are #1. Also people link back to them and that means many thousands of links to them so that's also how they get lots of visitors.

 

The way proxy.org is set up there is like a 1% chance of getting return visitors. The only thing of your site they see is the proxified bar.

 

Yeah I suppose, proxy.org would be way better if they sent them to your index.php page not your url_form.inc page

 

When I click on URls I always get taken to the proxies home page..index.php...Can you take a SS of what you mean

 

I just went to proxy.org and it took me to the homepage of a proxy when I clicked it. Normally it takes you to a proxified page as immortality has experience before aswell. Mabye they changed it?

 

Sometimes you will land on the homepage sometimes a proxied page.
