Close out your adsense account why its on "all time" setting to show how much you made in all the time you've been with the program. And then log back in hours later to see you've earned xxx.xx ammount and drool yourself for 3 seconds. Then switching to the "Today" option and seeing $.xx and then crawling back under your rock.

I just did it, i'm an idiot lol :D

LOL, Nope I have not done it with Adsense, but I did the exact same thing with Adwords. I was doing some figures and forgot I left it on All Time. Next time I logged i, I nearly S**t myself when it looked like I had just spent $*,*** for the day. I was looking to see if I had a decimal in the wrong spot someplace.

Oh that would be even worse because that would be money you're losing lol.

Off topic, how has adwords been working out for you? How many hits can squeeze out of lets say 40 bucks?

I am small Adwords user, but have used it for a year or so. I use Adwords to sort of "Jump Start" a site.

the amount you pay is greatly dependant on the keywords you are using. I have a medical site that can cost $5 a click, but lots of others that are about .20. It all depends on the site and the keywords.

Could I do 2 cents a click and a spending limit of 40 dollars?

You can set the amount per click, but I think the minimum is 5 cents. then you set a daily limit. So for example. If you limit it to 5 cents per click and up to $1 per day, you would theoretically be getting about 20 clicks per day for your dollar.

Again, the amount per click is greatly dependant on the keywords you choose. Some keywords will tell you that the minimum has to be X amount.

That is all up to you. if you want people to come back, you better give them a good reason.
