Event Boosts are they worth it?

I was just curious if those that use Facebook to market things have ever used the event option from a page and if so did you see any kind of benefit by using the boost option? This is basically like the boost post on any page but it increases the views for the event.

Boost option is working always. It is the best way to reach geo targetted peoples. Also, it helps to get targetted peoples likes in pages. If you boost for product sales that are more worthy.

Yes absolutely recommend boosting an event - it really increases the awareness of the event. As soon as someone clicks they are interested in the event they get notifications of any posts inside the event page and also a reminder the day of the event.
A small budget goes a long way, and you can pretty strategically target the audience too.

    Hello VirtualHelp4U,

Facebook Boost is a very good and budget friendly way to increase the awareness of any post, in your case, the event.
Choose the interest option wisely as it affects the kind of people who will be seeing your event. Make sure you add relevant interests. For example, if you are adding some food related event, add interests like food, food videos, cooking etc.

Facebook boost will also show to an average number of impressions it will be making in your budget. This way you can add/subtract your budget accordingly.

All the best for your event!

It's basically the only way to get significant reach on your FB page. If you have a new FB page the audience you reach is reasonable but after a month or so you will notice the reach is reduced drastically regardless of the time of the day you publish a post. This is essentially FB forcing business page owners to pay for advertising.
