Even Though My PR is 1 I am Not Getting Traffic Why?

my blog freeforallsoftwares.blogspot.com has pr 1 it doesnot even 100 visits per day ,google has given a pr 1 to the blog ,but there is no traffic to my blog.
do you have any answers to this?

Getting pagerank and traffic are two different things altogether. You may have high pagerank but low traffic also going with it. It is just normal that way.

 

PR does not mean traffic.

work hard on your onpage and offpage seo, and market the blog everywhere

 

as far as my knowledge people search for a key word.and if for that particular keyword your pagerank is 1 and if there is no good content people do not like to visit twice. so fill your website with information.

 

To get traffic you need to play with keywords and somehow try to get ranking in Google for relevant keyword. There is nothing to do with PR. It is only a tool designed by Google to find out the websites which are voting for you.

 

PR has nothing to do with traffic. I have seen PR 6 website with less than 10 visitors a day

You got PR because you may have ORIGINAL content on your blogs. AND PR doesn't mean traffic. If you want to explain in terms of traffic than goto alexa.com and check your blog rank.

Mine is currently alexa ranking is 2 lakhs and I get 200 unique visits daily and pr 0.

 

PR has nothing to do with traffic, it` about your skills , your topics you have wrote, and Google appreciated your effort.If the content is about popular topics, I think you`ll get more visitors.

This is good info - I was not aware of how you got high PR. I also figured if you have high PR, you would be higher up on the Search engine, and more traffic. I have a PR of 3 and Alexa in 500,000 and still not too much traffic. This is all helpful. It seems SEO is how you really get the traffic!

Never really take much notice of pagerank. Its all about traffic... pagerank does not always equate to high traffic levels. Just focus on researching quality keywords related to website theme and do some serious SEO on your site to get some search engine traffic.

yes Traffic has nothing to do with your PR... you should place good backlinks and do some SEO woks then you will get a good traffic...
