I like them, personally - but - to be honest (IMO) they don't have much market value these days without lots & lots of work! AKA. backlinks, SEO, time, marketing with Adwords, etc. because of the fact that they are exceptionally "general" (not as "niche-y") as targetable niche DNs. They could mean anything, really. Do, they couldn't be sold as-is (without existing backlinks, etc.) right now without YOU developing them to a greater degree. If you can "brand" them with some great content/backlinks, pagerank, etc. you could sell them in 3-5 months with analytics recorded for 3-5X the amount they are making on organic searches/adwords/affiliate income, etc. or if you want to further develop them, you could sell them for 6-12 months for maybe 10X the amount you bought them for. Decide whether you want to quick resell the domain itself without development; or , flip the domain with simple content in 2-4 months, or to develop them "fully" & sell as a "business". These days, a domain itself, unless a "one-word", "keyword-rich" one (nearly impossible to come by unless you are willing to compete like a demon in the market!) isn't worth too much more than the registration fee. Be careful what you register - think "What would I use this domain name to market?" If it's somewhat unclear, it will be to most others also. Not trying to be negative. Just realistic. I've been doin' this gig for over 11 years now myself. It's one of the most valuable, trial & error (& costly) lessons I've learned myself. Best regards & live well & prosper!!
thanks for honest review wuttaday I ve bought many names like this two three and last year and done some things around them but will have to sell some of them because it s hard building many domains same time very energy consuming anyway I hope to make some decent price for them because names are nice and all are WH and out of sandbox and names convert well on shopping keywords even truth is no much traffic on them atm. will see about that
To be honest, the reason I posted to you is because you are a "domainer after my own heart". I don't want to turn you off of the industry nor be negative. You're on the right, general track. You will have to do some soul-searching & some reality-testing before you see results for your efforts. It's been nearly 12 years for me & just yesterday I really have accomplished something really note-worthy. But I've "got miles to go before I sleep.". Every day I assume I may have to give up this domain biz. But every day I make real progress. At this point, I wish I could find a job as a trash collector & give this domain gig up! Sad, but true. But, because I have a real "knack" at it & always come through a "winner" (even if small "winner") at the last moment... I continue on to the next day. It is not a "gravy" job. It requires THINKING. I like your domains. I truly do. I've never said that to any domainer in truth before (except for the 2-3 OBVIOUS multi-millionaires who obviously also have registered tons of losers among their "winners" in domain names). I'm not able to say if you'll be successful. It depends on many variables. But I think you have more of a chance if you really want to do this - than nearly 99% of all others you'll prob. come across. So, if you think this domain thing is "your gig" & it's in your heart -- I say GO FOR IT. If you're undecided & it seems like more trouble than it's worth - my suggestion is SELL NOW & GET OUT. Through my 12+ businesses over nearly 30 years (I just turned 43 Y.O.) I've learned that "I could do anything if I only knew what it was" & most importantly: "Just because I can doesn't mean I SHOULD!") Take my words as you wish. Best Regards !!!
Yes, getting advanced is hard part nowdays it aint '98 to purchase goldmine names so easily, luck and re-search is all most people can get I m few years into building sites seo, linking and marketing so have decided to go with few of my favorites will sell others sooner or later. I don't mind having all domains still because they with little effort do make solid much then they cost still it s very hard to develop them further and do that for 20+ domains I posted them to sedo so will see if get some offers
