I think Italy will thrash Romania today. They don't play Catennechio nowadays. But Catennechio was very effective. Italy can try it with Del Piero up front. Buit Italy lacks top defenders. No Maldini, Nesta. Cannavaro is injured. Matteratzi out of form.
Italy would have won if the played ultra defensive. They just needed to block Nistelrooy, Snieder and all and score just once in counter. Italy needs to revert back to Cattennecho in some specific matches. They have the resources to play Catteenecho. I hope italy wins the cup.
I can bet that Portugal or Dutch are bot gonna be champs. At some stage teams will block Christiano with physical play or else and then Portugal is more or less finished. Deco cannot win big matches on his own and Nuno Gomes or Helder Postiga are not that great strikers like Nistellroy or Villa or Torres or Del Piero. Portugal are too short of strikers. If Christiano plays striker he will not get supply. And he is not a striker. He is a goal scoring winger. He does not play very will in the middle of field. No Rui Costa, Fige or Pauleta who scored the goal. Also upto now Portugal free kicks have been bad. Simao missed and Ronaldo just gave it to Cech hands. Someone from Italy or Spain will win. Greece and Croatia are dark horses. Romania will not even qualify for knockout stages.
