My outgoing mail server was having problems so Eudora opened up dozens and dozens of unsent messages which freezes the program up. Does anyone know how I can erase the personality that is causing this problem without opening the program? Where they are stored on my computer? --On a mac--- (I have about 20 e-mail personalities that I am hoping not to loose, although I could re-enter them if I really need to) Thank you.
Have you tried waiting a while maybe it will fix it self? Maybe it need to take care of it. Try closing down everything else before you open the mail program. I also have Eudora but for PC and i know sometimes it can be a pest.
I use Eudora on Windows so something could be different however I will tell how I resolve my problems in Eudora. 1)Backup all your data, by simply copy, paste in another folder. 2)Disconect from internet the machine wher is installed. Than I check the txt files 3)You should have a file Called Eudora, in Windows is Eudora.ini opens it and check the personality you need to remove, the remove and save. 4)Try to open Eudora again always without Internet connection. 5)If you no resolve the problem http://eudora.com/techsupport/kb/2517hq.html the following are windows version tips that resolve always my problem maybe could work for you http://eudora.com/techsupport/kb/1735hq.html
Actually if I can somehow locate where the personality files are stored on a mac, (or what it would be called) that would be it. Does anybody know? Thank you.
