Do you think the .eu domains would Boost the european online market. At this time you can not see in EU a single market in the field of internet services. What do you think? With its 456 million population Europe is the worlds biggest and riches market. At the same time European Union is far behind US when it comes to dot-com economy.
My wife and I caught a few in the landrush. She broke off a previous subdomain of a .co.uk site and 301'd it over as soon at it was confirmed as hers. Don't know if there are sandbox issues at play with the 'newness' of the domain (ranking and then plummeting) but at the moment after 2 weeks the site is ranking for phrases on the 3 big search engines which it has never done so with before as a subdomain and more importantly, within Google, which never took much interest in it as a co.uk subdomain. Most visits previously coming from the main site. There's seems to have been an awful lot of domains bought, but very, very little in the way of websites actually put on them so far. Her experience so far seems positive. Just my 2 c's.
