Ethical to "buy" your way into dmoz?

    You know what, it is ethical for you to pay an editor to be included, but it is not ethical for the editor to do it.

    If you can pay to play, I would say go for it!

    Personally I would not take pay to include anyone... but then again, I do not have a category with a lot of people submitting, so charging is not really attractive to me.

    Even if I had a big category, I could spend the same amount of time on my own company and make a lot more money. ;)

    I think it is cheap for that quality text link?..kidding. :)
    It is not ethical and i see there is no solution for this kind of corruption. Double checking and listings rechecking should be better way.

    Paying for a listing is bribery, accepting it is corruption. Both are unethical.

    DMOZ is like a third world country, it is not bribe anymore. It is custom, tradition, display of appreciation or simple cost of doing business. ;):D

    Not only that - it is heresy! Archbishop of Split and Makarska Marin Barisic accused bribery and corruption as well as other criminal activities acts against God, so these heretics must be purged so lets us burn ye at the stake! :D
