I think it's ethically wrong only if you do know that you're buying stolen goods. Mainly because you're giving money to the wrong person. But I don't think stealing stolen goods is wrong in some cases. I don't steal, but I have been robbed...and if someone robbed the people who have robbed me, I suppose that would be funny.
Yes, it's wrong. coz by buying stolen goods, you are creating a market for such goods and thus encouraging such activity.
It is wrong to buy stolen goods, if you you know it is stolen. If you buy a $1,000 product for $10.00 you can probably figure it is stolen. At least it should raise your thoughts toward such.
I guess it's time to boycott buying stolen goods. But Why it's wrong could be different for every person. Overall I think it's wrong, like sachin said it encourages thievery, plus I think It brings bad karma on you. I guess the correct thing to do would report them to the police?? PPCB
Not just ethically wrong but probably illegal everywhere in the U.S. at least, if you know the stuff is stolen anyway.
Of course it’s wrong. Take it this way. Do you like stolen goods from you to be sold on somebody else?
In the direction of Pirated digital things like programs, DVD's, etc, I never buy, because I could probably download it anyway, so why let some middleman benefit? But of course it's not ethical
Buying stolen goods is Wrong no doubt. buying such stuff will only encourage the seller to carry forward his illegal activities..
Nope, I wouldn't involving myself from buying the stolen goods, as I definitely against my moral value...
yes it's bad if you knew it's stolen one but still buy it. coz you kinda encourage them to steal it again for money. no, it's not wrong if you dont know that thing you bought was stolen.
Yes, it's definitely wrong. How can you buy something you know is stolen, there will be people out there wondering what happened to their belongings. It's just really wrong in every possible way.
I don't believe you even bother to ask this question, the answer is as obvious as day and night. Absolutely not ethical at all and illegal I presume.
