I wanted to have a play around with this script but they have disabled the free downloads page. Does anyone have a copy of the free script that they can send me?

It's a great script, I use the pro version at www.niche-listings.com

 

Unfortunately that link is a no go.

I've noticed more and more dirs using it, and it looks very professional and apparently is loaded with good templates and features.

Niche listings looks good, I like the 3 col layout. What are the other templates like?

 

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Didnt see this question. I havent used any of the other templates. I have been working on making some custom templates which is pretty easy to do with the script but the default template is very nice.

Ive got it setup now and I'm pretty impressed with the backend.

Does anyone have a mysql dump of a general category structure that I could get a hold of? The thought of adding 400 categories by hand doesn't really appeal to me

 

If you have a dump from a phpld directory, just ask a mod on their forum, they will convert it for you.
