I plan to open a directory and wanted to know if you guys would for

    A. eSyndicate
    B. Directory from themeforest (wordpress theme)

As this directory will be more like business directory I wonder wich one will be handle thousands of business and thousands of visitors daily without giving too much trouble.

    Thank you for your answers

Don't know of any issues. Looks pretty cool. I like the google mapping/geolocation feature.

Looks like they use that thumbshots plugin though and its not up to date.

    Hi,
We have several alternative plugins for your choice so you can decide what thumbs to use. One of them allows to generate own thumbnails and keep them on your own server.

Our software has been tested with 100k+ listings and worked pretty fast. Though I'm not really sure about the load when you have many visitors a day. I don't think you can find a common-case software that will work really fast in the high-load environment. You'd def need to optimize it specifically for your website.

well, litespeed is a bit necessary when you start having quite a heavy load anyway.
