estimating a site value for sale is typically 6-10X the monthly revenue correct?

say a site makes at least 300+ a month for the last 4 months, and recently jumping to 400+ in the past month, what would the average sale on DP be if I were to sell it here?

I think it's monthly revenue X 12. and you have to count with last month revenue.

 

I'd say that for a quick sale, you'd get between around 3X - 7X monthly revenue. Sure, you can try going for 12X, but it may take longer to sell, or it may not even sell.

 

Usually just average all of the months out and multiply it by 6-10x the revenue, this should give you a better estimate of what your site is worth.

 

i thought it was 3 to 4 months earnings. i would not pay more.

 

Yeah, giving away the niche and aff. program, which has has over 6k in generated sales because of my traffic alone wouldn't be worth letting out. Let alone for 3-4X the monthly income of what my site makes. So, heh, I'll wait this one out.

 

Unless you are desperate for cash, I don't know why you would want to see it. It seems that it is a pretty solid earner for you and whatever you have been doing the last few months to see an increase in revenue like that is pretty awesome. I say keep it for a while.
