"Estimated Search Traffic" ... I just.. don't... get it.

I'm not gonna lie, I would classify myself as a moderate newbie when it comes to adwords. I've used it on and off for several years, primarily for affiliate marketing. I've usually come out in the positives, but nothing to brag home about.

My question: How come Estimate Search Traffic shows that with my current CPC and keywords (and QS's ranging from OK to Great), I can potentially bring in 1,200 clicks a day? Yet, my campaign has been running 2 days now, and I have 0 impressions.

"At an average CPC of $0.18 - $0.25 these keywords could potentially generate 1,276 - 1,797 clicks per day (which would cost you $240 - $460)."

If I could bring in 1800 clicks I would happily pay $500.

This is across several ad groups, each tailored to a certain keyword(s), and each pointing to a dynamic landing page.

    I just don't get it.

Increase the CPC? Is that the end-all solution? Increase it high enough so that hopefully the CTR goes up and the CPC goes down?

Ignore the estimate tools. They border on worthless.

I had the same problem for one of my ads. For 2 days straight I was only getting one click per day, and then from nowhere it increased into 20-30 daily clicks per day.
