Was appraised at $1000 now it shows $480? Same with Valuate.. Anyone know why?

Of course its worth over $30,000 but I am just wondering what happened.

First of all, as I am sure you know, all those automated valuation sites do (with one exception I know of) is take estimates of traffic, estimates of revenues and a few other publicly available bits of data and mash them together to come up with a very arbitrary number. I have sites that are "valued" at a small fraction of the real value and others that are valued at much more than they are worth.

Without seeing the before and after numbers to spot the changes, it is impossible to say why it might have dropped. Are fewer backlinks showing up? Did the Google rank drop? Did the Alexa number go up? Depending on the formula they apply, any of those things may have changed their estimate of value.

seems some cpc, searches , alexa etc values dropped and affected the estimation of that value from that bot
