i've seen so many webmasters claimed that estibot.com is good for FREE domain appraisal? is that true? if it true, I just miss $250 dollar......!!!!!!!!!! pity on me.
Like anything else it is based off of certain factors. At the end of a day a domain is only worth what someone will pay for it, so unless you have a legitimate buyer offering $250.00, you didn't lose anything. Also estibot does not know the traffic to the domain, only backlinks, and alot of the time the backlinks are garbage.
I actually like the tool, although I can't say anything about its reliability. I haven't been doing this long enough for that. Are there any similar free services which are more reliable? What would you advice?
Nope. not reliable at all. It once gave an estimate of $900 for one of my sites that couldn't have been worth more than $50. Then again, it is a FREE tool, so use it for what its worth (nothing)
estibot appraisal $8400 certified appraisal $ 53 to 134 estibot appraisal $16000 certified appraisal $85 to $155 estibot appraisal reg fee certified appraisal $125 to $225 I bought domains based on estibot appraisals, figured if they were 50% wrong still a good buy. Call the psychic hotline for a better appraisal
this good for someone who wants to feel good about their site, not an actual money on the table value. its good nonetheless....
I think that either a human or automatic tool can appraise a domain without contents except if the domain is a 2,3 or 4 chars or one dictionary word. Elsewhere it's quite impossibile to give an exact appraisal. To appraise a domain with content an automatic tool can appraise in the same way then a human cause the values used to calculate it are based on same data. I have done an automatic tool and many times it gives me more real value than a "human" appraisal: http://www.scriptidea.net/domain_appraisal
estibot is pretty accurate. i just checked appraisals of a few sites i own and bingo.. right on target. 24x revenue.
