Established website - what is maximum links per day?

I have several sites and I am wondering what is a good guide to the maximum number of links to build for a website in one day.

I will be using websites that have had some major link building on them, 1 site has over 50,000 links in the past 12 months.

What is your thoughts on this?

No body can sure about the minimum link for a new website because there's no official limits from anywhere. Just be careful because Google will make your website sandbox if they feel you are spam :)

Its more about Consistency then it is about how many you build in 1 day...

If you want to build 100 links a day, you can, just make sure you do it all the time...

A few months back, I ordered 100,000 profile links from a buddy of mine just to prove others wrong - that I would not be blacklisted, sandboxed, penalized or anything stupid like that.

So, in one BAM! He gave me a 100,000 profile backlink blast.. My site is still there, moved up a couple of spots in the SERPs and that's it.. Why? Because Google doesn't find all those links immediately, it takes them time to find and count your new backlinks. It could take up to one month, 3 months and even up to a year for those links to be recognized by Google.

So, again.... Concentrate on 2 things here when you are building links... "Variety and Consistency" are 2 KEY elements when doing so.
