"Established" website template site

I'm selling my website template site www.GUItemplates.com . It is one of the original Template Monster affiliate sites, that I designed and built from scratch before they had any code generation on their site (of course they added that feature shortly after I finished my site). The site has been live since April 2003 and is well established and indexed in Google. The site is over 50 static pages. The site was built using a .cfm (Cold Fusion) extension, but could be easily converted to .php or .html. The site also includes a sub-affiliate sign up page. I never really promoted it much because my main business is custom web design and it was kind of like competing with myself. The site is a PR 3 on the homepage and PR 2 internally with no links from any of my own sites.

I wasn't paying attention and only checked my TM account every few months or so (or longer). TM had changed the affiliate code and I never got an email about it, so I wasn't getting credit for quite a while. I started to change over to the new code last week when I realized I really can't do much promotion of the site because of my main business and I don't own or plan to own a webmaster oriented network.

If you purchase the site and want to stay with TM you'll obviously need to convert to your own aff code. If someone wants to do that and isn't familiar with TM I can walk you through it. The site has the potential to bring in hundreds per month from TM.

This site would also be great for someone that wants a nice size, well aged site with a great domain name for selling your own templates or creating a template review type site.

I would prefer to sell this site instead of fixing the aff code as I think somebody else could do much more with the site than I can.

Kind of high for a site with no traffic or reveune

 

It's not that there isn't any traffic or revenue. I just lost track and can't give a bunch of stats. I agree though the BIN is obviously a tad high and some people might see it as risky.

$300 to start doesn't seem like much to me for 3 year old aged site with 50+ pages, a decent .com domain and is out of the sandbox. I know I could make into something if I had the right network and the interest. My market just isn't webmasters.

 

Unfortunately when I tried to access my stats page it was down. I contacted my host and they fixed it, but everything before the last month or so is showing 0.
