Established Web Hosting Directory for sale - fully automated

Hello everyone,
I'm selling my site www.webhostinghall.com
It's an automated web hosting directory.

Hosting companies can sign up and add/update their hosting plans for free.
Hosting companies can get a code to put an image in their websites that will display the company's rating from the directory.

Regular users can browse the hosting plans from the main categories, or can perform advanced searches selecting the features and storage they need. Users can also post reviews about the hosting companies that are listed in the directory.

The administrator can send mass emails to all registered companies or to specific ones from the control panel.
Administrators can also add, edit and remove Hosting Companies, Hosting Plans, Categories, Search filters, Polls, etc.

There are actually around 240 hosting companies listing their plans in the website.

This site has a nice potential, but promotion is requiered. I have no time for that. You can even put a forum to attract more people

You can make money with ads in the top and bottom of everypage or selling listings in the Top 10 Hosts page.

There are a few content pages in the help section.
Includes a Hosting Glossary, Web Hosting Basics, and Help using the site for new users.

The script is custom done, there are no other sites using this script.
It's written in Perl and uses encrypted text files to store the information.
URLs are rewrited for SEO purposes.
Design is very easy to customize. (footer, header and css file)

I'm selling the domain, design, and database, with a license to use the script, i'm not selling the script rights. You can't redistribute it or use it in other domain name.

If you want the script rights (exclusive rights, this means i'll not hold or use any copy of the script) i'll charge 150 or 200 dollars more, depends on how high this auction goes.

Man, for that low visitors and almost no money in profit I'm not sure if anyone will bother to get that page with set up minimum bid of 300.

Hello Venetsian, i appreciate your interest but i can't take that offer.
This website has a lot of work on it.

If you are looking to buy a website and leave it there as is, just to get the money it makes, then of course this is not for you, this site has a great potential but requieres work.

The design is unique and very well done, worth around USD100
I spent around USD500 in programmer for the basic script, updates, new features etc.
The domain is nice, worth around USD30.
I wrote content and spent a lot of time in the website.
It has a database with more than 220 hosting companies registered.
Ranks 7 in yahoo for "Web Hosting Directory", i know that's not much but it's something.

Those are some of the reasons for the price, if i take 100 dollars for it i'll be loosing money.

If I buy this website, I'll have to re-do the whole thing and most probably won't you your scripts and I have different thing in mind ....

so I guess I'm not the best buyer for such website. I'll most likely turn it in a profitable web hosting review site .....

No, that's not possible now, but with a few code modifications it could be done.

About 2 new companies per week.
