Established site tools website for sale!

Hey, I'm selling www.habbohtml.com, auctioning it here on the site.

I created the site in october 2006 and posted the link on 5/6 forums, I've done nothing to advertise it since then and am pretty pleased with the hits. I've really neglected this site but it's up for grabs anyway.

The site offers free counters, polls .etc and also has a few scripts unique to this site (or it originally was) there are some problems with tools not working .etc, I'm happy to help the new owner fix initial problems with my script if I haven't done so by the time of the sale. You can view the working awstats here. The domain will be due for renewal on 21-10-2008. I currently don't have link backs on the counter and nor do I advertise so there's definate potential just by adding links onto the counters and shoving a few ads in, a very quick and easy task to do (I'm happy to help with this too if it's needed).

The sale includes a copy of "FAST POLL HOST V1.1" from http://www.phptower.com which I don't think is even for sale anymore! the script works fine and I've not had a problem with it since I set it up! It cost me $32 and is included in this sale along with all the coding and editing I did to the theme to make it fit in. it is only licensed for the domain habbohtml.com.

I ask that you keep in mind the value of the domain by itself. Habbohotel.com is a popular site amongst teens and the site supports fan sites, often these are people's first websites and therefore they don't have the knowledge of how to make their own counters .etc so they go in search of such things. I think this is partly why the site has been so popular with no effort put in.

I will host the site for a month after sales but then it is up to you to move it to its new location. I will also offer support with coding .etc for the first month.

I'm going to start the auction at what the site cost me minus the domain fees, $30 with increments of $5. The auction will last 4 days (96 hours). I'll be selling a few of my websites over the next month or so as I need to raise some money for a gap year so please keep an eye out. This is a great chance to grab a bargain so even if you've no interest in the site, chances are you can sell it on for more!

Phptower allow license transfer or not

 

You're not allowed to use the license on a different domain but I'm pretty sure you're allowed to change who uses it, i.e. it's only restricted by the domain. I will double check this now though and reply here when it's confirmed.




Edit:

Had a look through all the information and there's nothing saying the license can't be sold! Just has to be used one the one domain.

 

I actually forgot to mention that money was spent on some of the graphics used in the site and on an entire Habbo themed template which is included with full rights to whoever wins this auction. I was going to release a free templates section but never got around to it.
