not sure what you mean by "filtered".
It's been pretty consistent considering its never been marketed. It's a solid property. No SEO, a few link exchanges and no content and it made $5000.

within the last 2 weeks, alot of the myspace resource sites have been filtered by myspace with their msplinks setup. your images and content will work on the profiles but the link back to your site will get rerouted to myspace. this is a major thing you should know and most likely will affect your sites value.

Youch, I didn't know that. That could drop the rank, traffic and pr of the site quite quickly. I am a little tentative about my bid now but I will let it stand.

That's for sites that rely on comments for traffic... I have a few myspace sites and they all receive traffic from various sources.. msplinks.. I know about but it hasn't affected any of my sites.

I'm very interested, but am leery of the fact that you've earned an unbelievable $4.72 CPM on your Google ads for the past month. I run many Myspace sites with literally the exact same layout, color scheme, and ad placement, and have never consistently earned more than $0.80 CPM. Myspace just isn't a high paying keyword.

While it's possible to have earned 6-10x normal earnings for a short period (I noticed you have medical imaging and prescription drug ads showing for some reason), through my past experience this would be impossible to hold for any length of time. With ~330 uniques a day at 4.xx pageviews a visitor, I can't see this earning more than $60 a month consistantly (~$30 Valueclick + ~$30 adsense). These numbers fall exactly in line with sites I currently own.

Therefore, I will bid $600, and I would need to see referral stats. Good luck

P.S- I'd watch the placement of your 300x250 Valueclick ads, they need to above the fold. Your current placement is too near the bottom and you could get flagged for it.

If you say that the traffic doesn't rely on that I will bid $700 provided that you send me referral and traffic stats.

    Traffic sources:
    www.profilemodz.com/ss/SS40.jpg

profilemodz.com has an Overture WITH extention: 51

FarmerOak: .80 cpm is horribly low. You may have been smartpriced or something. Also, you can't always compare 2 sites, different traffic yields different results and revenues.

It might seem that way if you're unfamiliar with MSRS's, but believe me, $0.80 CPM is actually near the upper end for these types of sites. You're right about the traffic patterns however, and all of my MSRS get 75%+ of their traffic from search engines, which is much higher quality than profiles. I'd be very careful buying this without seeing previous months revenue.

    Ad Placement Requirements
    1. Banner, Leaderboard, Skyscraper, and Wide Skyscraper creatives must be placed within 600 pixels of the top of the Webpage (above the page scroll/fold)

The 2 rectangle formats arent required to be placed above the fold, but are required to be placed within content.

But looking at this site, it seems the ad has been placed below the content, not sure exactly whether that is allowed, but moving it up within the content and still below the fold is allowed.

Thanks for your insight. I asked him yesterday for revenue stats from either February, March or April along with referrals. When he replies I will let you know.

    Hi,

He never messaged me back so I assume that you were right. I noticed a lot of the referral traffic for the past month was from stumbleupon so he probably just advertised it a month prior to selling it so that it would go for a higher price.

    Regards,

    Ryan
