This is a phpbb3 multiforum website, which allows users to create their own free forum.

The template for the main site is 100% custom, designed by me. The logo is also 100% custom, designed by me. The website comes with a professionally made leaderboard banner:


There is currently 38 forums created.... and I get about 4 new signups each day. Adsense has gotten a few clicks here and there... about $4 since mid-august.

This site also has a detailed admin panel... where you can do pretty much anything... from managing forums, controlling ads, editing the template, etc.

It is running on a monthly leased script (echoPHP) for $9.95. The website comes with the script, the license is transferable. Also, to host this website, I would suggest a VPS or dedicated... not for the resources, but you need shell access to edit apache config file httpd.conf to make wildcard entry, and also you need DNS access to make an A entry (your host can help you with this). The site went live mid-august. I get about 20 uv a day (600/mo)... out of that 20, about 4-5 people sign up a day. The site converts really well.

And Animebuffer, yes, I have done lots of SEO work for the keyword "free forum maker"... just a little bit more and you could be on the first page (there are about 2000 monthly searches for "free forum maker" on Google). It's been just about a month and the site already ranks well for a keyword... many sites aren't even indexed at this point. Thanks for your bid of $14, but I am looking for more then that (I paid $15 for the banner alone).

 

How well does it rank for 'free forums' or 'free phpbb forums'
In my opinion those get more hits

The site is only a month old, so I only did work for "free forum maker". A week ago, I started doing SEO work for "create a forum". I'm going for less major keywords then "free forums", because it will take time to get that high and compete with other forum makers. "create a forum" has been doing outstanding on adwords (most clicked keyword on my list), and with some more backlinks for that keyword, it will rank soon.
