Selling Established Photoshop Illustrator Tutorial Site *huge potential*

Hello,

Up for sale is a well established Photoshop/Illustrator tutorial and design freebie site. All content was created by me as I was learning these programs and most of the tuts are very detailed and aimed at aspiring designers.

The site runs on Drupal with a customized version of a popular theme. No hacking or sloppy code has been added. It is very easy to add tutorials and moderate comments. The site uses Mollom to counter spam. There are several regular users and people contact me all the time with questions and occasionally design projects.

Revenue is hard to determine, because it came primarily from people who contacted my privately to place text ads. From 2 year long text ads I was able to make about $1000. That's completely passive income and the ads were pretty unobtrusive. Adsense does well on days you post a popular tutorial. I think the highest day was something like $25 (not much, but do that every day and you're starting to make some bucks). If you could manage to post one tutorial per day and get it published on tut directories, you could easily double the traffic (probably much more than that) and attract advertisers. I never actively went after $, this was more a personal project. I've also left the site abandoned for several months at a time and the traffic still rolls in. There are tons of keyphrases on the 1st page of Google results, blog mentions, top 10 lists, etc etc. Right now the snow globe post is popular because of the holidays. That took like 5 minutes to create.

I will include all of the psd and ai files that I can find as well as a new video tutorial I will be making soon (a series of my favorite techniques. I've picked up quite a few in the last year or so). Also included is thebesttutorials.com, a collection of hand selected tuts. But that site has been neglected for years. Throw up a new post and it will come back to life.

I can provide a lot of assistance with marketing the site and I may be willing to write a couple tutorials to help you get started. I was never very good at the marketing side of things until pretty recently. Now I'm moving on to bigger projects and to help fund those, I'm selling Slick Tutorials

The site runs on hostgator shared hosting and domain is reg'd with godaddy. I would recommend putting this on a vps or dedi if you're serious about making it into something big.

It's quite likely you could go out and hustle for some advertisers and make your money back almost immediately. I just don't have the time.
