www.sitonmybass.com is a website dedicated to dance/bass music and includes a download section, forum, arcade and flash MP3 player. It is based on a custom content management system which comes with an easy-to-use admin panel. The admin panel can be used to edit: news, polls, recent news, recent downloads and edit the navigation.

It is very easy to add music to the custom MP3 player, which uses an XML file to add songs.

The SOMB forum contains over 400 members, growing daily:
    http://www.sitonmybass.com/forums

The custom designed arcade is very active and played 500+ times daily.
    http://www.sitonmybass.com/arcade

Around 9GB of audio can be downloaded through the download system (copyrights are not a problem - the music is not copyrighted)

    Revenue Details:

Currently the website makes its revenue through Google Adsense. It has been making $30USD per month for the past couple of months. However, I have owned this website for less than a month, and have not put adsense onto the website and therefore have no revenue screenshots.

I have PMd the old owner, attempting to receive the adsense proof, please be patient.

    Traffic Details:

The traffic details can be directly seen from our live awstats:

Do you have documented permission from the artists showing the audio isn't copyrighted?

I love the design and the site is something id really love to buy but i think you need to be honest when selling a site

i think ultrabeat did a song called pretty green eyes which was a fairly big song in some clubs for a few months in england which is why i recognised that artist but pretty much anyone into this scene knows of dj tiesto

Anyone who bids on this beware there is atleast 5 files which are illegal a lot of them i havnt heard of so i dont know but 4 strings (which there are around 4 files for) are signed to an agency...who knows the owner may have written consent to distribute for free, in which case i will withdraw my comments

Yeah, there is a rave remix of Pretty Green Eyes mixed by Hixxy, Styles and Breeze as well. Bit cheesy but still a good track to groove to :D

Very good questions. My business partner wrote the thread and I just copied it.

We have no experience with the music sites and that's why we are selling it off. We bought it 8 days ago but the song library, forums, arcade and music player are too hard to manage for us. It requires a lot of time to be updated daily because fresh content is a requirement of that kind of website.

As far as the copyright Issue is concerned, I've seen a lot of sites using disclaimer to avoid these kind of issues. If you are concerned so much about Piracy, you can host the files onto rapidshare and just link back. One of these kind of site is albumbase.com which was sold for big bucks. ;-)

Hey, i am Haris's partner. I was assured that there were no copyright issues when i purchased the website. I have also looked through the download list, and there seems to be one or two albums which are copyrighted. These can be deleted off the server. I will look through properly tommorow, and ask the old webmaster about it - and delete the copyrighted songs.

If you have any questions, please contact me or Haris.

    Kindest Regards.
