What about the auction on sitepoint at http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/5833?

Minimum bid is $15,000. Here you are going to sell the site for less than one month's profit if that's what the price closes at in three days?

    It doesn't make sense.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think anyone is going to $15,000 out of nowhere. It has to go the auction route and maybe thats what the seller realized.

attention to all DP bidders, this seller is fraudulently selling this site. I had interest in purchasing this site as well. I have spoken with the owner of this thread who claims to be Mike from NYC, however the site is registered to a Paul in minnesota. I have contacted paul and he states the only place this site has been advertised for sale is on sitepoint. Beware of this seller he is a scammer!

Oh jesus............this one was pretty good it had me interested. I thought the stats seemed kinds high though, I get decent results from MMA keywords on google and theres no way I could make that much with my current traffic. Im pretty aware of the sites that are high ranking and I swear I heard of MMAmuscle before.

Anyways say it aint so seller.......would you really do this to people?

well if this is true, the person in question should be barred for life!! I hate this about human nature always trying to scam people, thank you very much for shedding light on the situation, and lets hope he never gets away with it, also I see he has not replied to it so I think that says it all, I think we shaould all remember if its to good to be true then it probably is! I mean $6,000 for a site that is netting $4,000 per month?? Well the orginal site owner has it priced right I think at $40,000 and I think this would be good but out of my price range!

    Escrow.com, uh?

How does that work? Do you only release the funds once you actually have the product?

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention.

Guys - I do have the site up for sale over at Sitepoint and have been on vacation over the past week. The actual buy price is $39,500 and the bidding starts at $15,000.

To the original poster - why would you try and pull something like this?

If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot me a PM here or on the other forums (under this same username). You can also visit the website and message me via the contact form. Thanks.
