I think if people were looking for hosting they would probably buy a new one. Plus, $120/year for 10 GB bandwidth is outrageous! You got ripped off.
Most hosts give 99.9% uptime guarantee and many of them do that! It means no more than 43 mins. of downtime and mostly this figure is 5-15 mins.
