Selling Established ad network with approx 300 publishers

    Hi everyone,

    So, I recently bought this ad network thinking it would be a great investment, and that it would keep me interested for a while.

    Unfortunately, the seller was absolutely horrible, and provided broken scripts and a lot of trouble. After spending more and more money I finally got the site back up (took about 4 days of downtime) and things went back to normal.

    The script is a PTP script, which allows the admin to create an entire html page that has only the top 460x60 (or close) displayed, even though there can be, and are, many other ads on that page. This has allowed the site to offer $0.10+ CPMs to publishers while making about $0.40+ CPMs. Unfortunately, the seller said he has put my ad codes in but actually left his own - took me a while to realize because I was using the same ad codes my other sites are using, so I lost out on a lot of revenue.

    The publishers provide 5K-25K impressions daily (I can show daily stats to anyone who is seriously interested). The script only shows each days impressions the day they happened, so I can give you a couple screenshots over a couple days.

    Realistically, I would be happy to sell the site for less what I expect minimum PROFIT for 1 year would be: 5K impressions * $0.3 CPM (in profit) * 30 days per month * 12 months per year = $720 - I'd be willing to part with it for $650.

    @tom11011, valid question: I will be honest, there is some work involved. There are payments that will need to be sent (I will payout all outstanding before transferring), and some other (maybe 1 hour weekly) management that may be needed). To be completely honest, this is not what I am looking for. I thought owning an ad network would be different... kind of just wanted to try it - decided this kind of business is not really my thing!
