To Any one looking at getting a domain through EST Domains be very very careful. They have the worst customer support I have ever seen and thats saying something.

I have paid twice through two different methods to renew a domain that expires on the 12th. They have not recognised either payment. I have logged over 3 support tickets two of them remain unanswered after 24 hours at critical. The one that has had a reply says they cant do anything until Monday.

I have therefore tried to change the domain to another registrar. Unfortunately this can take 5 days and EST need to approve it. Well I doubt they will now.

I really need this domain and dont see what the problem is.

Domain transfer should not be a problem. I suggest you to take all domains away from Estdomains.

It is strange that they still take new orders and renew payment as well

What is going to happen to all domains on estdomains?

ICANN’s records indicate that EstDomains has approximately 281,000 domain names under its management. ICANN will take all reasonable measures to protect the interests of registrants during the stay period and the subsequent termination process that may follow.

They are horrible to deal with. Twice I have paid for domains from a PayPal balance and they refused payment because the payment did not come from my email address I registered with them.

As far as I know you have time limit for that. ICANN prolonged opportunity with transfers from them till Nov24 as far as I know.

ICANN is trying to manage bulk transfer for the domains registered with EstDomains. But some uncertainties are involved.
I am not taking any risk with my main domain. I have already on the process to transfer it to GoDaddy.
But I have put the fate of my other domains to the whim of ICANN.

    No difference.
You will have same control panel, because resellerclub also uses same control panel.

Infact, now you will have much better support. And also resellerclub.com is soon going to make free manage DNS service. whois privacy is already free.
