I am a new student in web development, therefore I am required to learn about web design, to be honest something I am not particularly skillfull in as yet. for the purpose of this course; I am putting together a presentation for an app for the iphone, a "mock up" site and presentation for an 'pre developed app' I have the following hardware : scanner, digital camera, video camera I have the following software : adobe fireworks [trial version] adobe photoshop [trial] camtasia and snagit [trial] I have also used previously a website called "prezi" for creating unique and animated presentations. its like a modern version of powerpoint, the way powerpoint should be !! I have also located the Apple SDK kit, created by apple for such a project. I am looking for this project to stand out from the crowd and create it without the burden of huge software expenses. Trial versions are ideal but it gives you 30 days to master the software and create the project !! I am looking to see what else is out there, what people are using in the industry and what opensource or cheaper alternatives are out there. I would like to add that this is also part of my coursework, therefore torrents, keygens and cracks are of no use. With regards to a scanner : does anyone currently use this method in multimedia ?, I find the quality is not up to scratch for any professional looking project. For me, Video / animation is the way to go !!, how do i create a video presentation to display an app working without building the app ???? I have seen an app page do this : http://cloud2goapp.com/ Is it possible to create this using still images and animation software ? Is there a trial version of this software ?
