Essential elements of an E-Business Model

    Can someone please advice me or give helpful inputs or suggestions on the essential elements of an E-Business Model?

    Businesses today rely on the Internet as source of advertising and sales but most of them do not have a concrete grasp on the foundations of an effective E-business campaign.

    "essential elements of an E-Business Model" ? That is a very general and hard to answer question.
    When designing an E-Business Model you must think about the same things as in a non E business model and adapt your ideas to the online market realities.

    Please be more specific with your questions and we might help you :)

    If you are thinking about online retail, then first makes sure you take traditional retail concepts into account. Online is another channel - it doesnt obviate the need for basic retailing fundamentals. Then you need to think about the online specific aspects such as SEO, online marketing, ecommerce cart, online content, fulfilllment and returns process, call center etc.
